Theremin player Dorit Chrysler has an impressive career playing her untraditional electronic instrument. She has recorded a number of records and performed in both music and visual art contexts. She explores the theremins very atmospheric sounds and in her performances she places these in musical, architectural and visual arts contexts. Among her collaborators are such prominent names as Anders Trentemøller, Marilyn Manson and Jesper Just.
In her dusk-performance in Social Zone the movement of the hand around the theremin created a visual picture of lights projected from above. The lightning show was developed with the artist group Dark Matters.
