UNKLE est un collectif de trip-hop/abstract hip-hop qui a vu le jour dès les débuts du label Mo'Wax sous la tutelle du producteur James Lavelle. À l'origine appelé U.N.K.L.E., le nom du groupe perd ses points lors de la sortie de son premier album.
