KT Tunstall

KT Tunstall (née Kate Tunstall le 23 juin 1975 à Édimbourg) est une auteur-compositrice britannique, d'origine écossaise du côté père et chinoise côté mère. Sa musique varie du folk à des titres plus pop.

Son pseudonyme KT est un jeu de mot sur Katie : « En fait, il a un peu plus de style que Kate qui me fait juste penser à la fille d'un fermier » rit-elle. KT Tunstall s'inscrit dans la tradition des auteurs-compositeurs-interprètes classiques comme Rickie Lee Jones, Carole King et Fleetwood Mac, et dans celle des auteurs-compositeurs écossais contemporains comme Texas, Fran Healy, Teenage Fanclub et The Beta Band.
