En 2005, le quatuor d’Editors entre dans les charts rock indé dès son premier single. La suite de l’histoire est une accumulation de succès discographiques et scéniques qui les inscrit dans la lignée de groupes comme Joy Division, Echo And The Bunnymen et Interpol. Challenger confirmé de la nouvelle scène coldwave, Editors a pour marque de fabrique des rythmiques puissantes, des atmosphères glaciales et des mélodies aussi romantiques qu’obsédantes. Sans oublier le timbre caméléon du chanteur Tom Smith qui imprime une touche sombre et sexy à cette jeune formation. Un des plus gros espoirs de la scène rock anglaise
